Springfield, NJ — Mark | Lavigne, LLC, a New Jersey-based employment law firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of Edward Herban and Taylor Ruggieri to partner. Both attorneys joined the firm in 2024 as senior associates and have since made significant contributions to the firm’s growing employment litigation practice.

 

Herban brings more than 25 years of experience in employment law to his new role. He spent the first half of his career handling employment defense work in-house, giving him valuable insight into how employers approach and respond to claims. He later operated his own firm, where he developed a robust practice representing clients in matters involving wage and hour disputes, employment discrimination, contract disputes, and wrongful termination.

 

Ruggieri focuses her practice on employment discrimination, with a particular emphasis on sexual harassment claims. She previously served as an assistant prosecutor in Hudson County, where she developed a strong foundation in courtroom advocacy and a commitment to plaintiff-side work. Ruggieri later expanded her experience at large defense firms, handling a range of complex civil and criminal matters.
